I started writing this blog post months ago as I collected info from parents, coaches, players and physicians from all over the country. Parents make team choices based on so many reasons, but everyone must remember overuse is the primary concern. Win at all cost has no place in youth sports. Overlapping and playing for multiple teams drives up the risk of burnout and injury exponentially. I dont care what team your child plays on, as long as the coach, parents, and players understand and agree to do what is best for the children - not just whats best to get the win. Please read, share, and comment. Positive and negative comments welcomed on here and the blog - Im totally immune to criticism at this point. I do whats best for the kids, when you do that, the winning part comes anyways.
