I still cant get over this. The government in the US have passed a new law which makes it illegal to enrol a child into a school in a different catchment area, and poor people on welfare are given houses in areas chosen by the government, which have shit schools with substandard teachers in, to ensure that the working class stay where they belong, at the bottom with no education to move up. This woman tried to get the best for her son and theyve made an example of her, so that others know not to bother trying to get their children a better education. Her sons without a Mum now, so unfair. Its evil. I hope she uses her time in prison wisely and doesnt give up. People need to teach their children all that they can because you cant rely on the government.
