I still dont understand why the 10mm isnt more popular. This evening I finally got some 200 grain Nosler hollow points, just in time to load up a few and do some shooting before dark. My loads are very hot, intended only for the Contender. It will be easy to tell them from Glock loads because the OAL is 1.395 instead of the Glock ammos 1.260. Im getting 1,640 feet per second with the 200 grain bullets and 16.5 grains of Accurate #9. That works out to right at 1,200 foot pounds of energy, almost double what most factory loads do. My groups are averaging about 1 1/2 at 100 yards. The gallon jug in the picture was shot from 50 yards. As of today this Contender is ready for deer season. Now I just need to find a jug of Accurate #7 so I can load some .380s for the Glock 42...
