I still trust and respect the medical care at Presbyterian - TopicsExpress

I still trust and respect the medical care at Presbyterian Hospital of Dallas. Aside from teaching hospitals, I dont believe any hospital would have been prepared to deal with Ebola. Its come at a high price but our first responders and emergency rooms will never be the same. I still remember the updated/required protocols ISSUED by the CDC regarding the handling of blood specimens from venipuncture to reduce the risk of HIV exposure. THE FACT remains hospitals or any other healthcare facility for that matter, trains/prepares staff based on the risks issued by the CDC/NIH (i.e. GOVT) in conjunction with WHO. They were clearly NOT issued new protocols. Now its the blame game and deflecting responsibility. We ALL know IT always rolls from the top! We also know where it started and how it could have been prevented but none of that matters now. Just fix it! It starts with me. It starts with you.
