I stopped at Subway in Russellville to pick up supper. I had a coupon that says Buy ANY 6-inch sub with ANY fountain drink, and get ANY 6-inch sub of equal or lesser price FREE Not valid on $2 subs. I showed the coupon and said I wanted a 6-inch Philly Cheesesteak sub.(They cost $5.) The woman said I couldnt use the coupon for that. I asked why, she said, You just cant use that coupon for that. I said, Can I use this and get a steak and cheese?(They cost $4.50.) That was acceptable. So, trying to understand, I asked her again why I couldnt get the Philly. She ignored the question. The woman at the register seemed nicer, so I asked her. I said, I dont understand. Can you explain why it says ANY sub, but it doesnt include the Philly Cheesesteak? Her reply was, Thats what my boss says and I just work here. (I was obviously wrong about her being nicer. HaHa I STILL dont understand why the coupon doesnt include Philly Cheesesteak when ANY sub is even in all capital letters. Thats what my boss says and I just work here is just not a good enough answer for me. I really want to know how the coupon can be for every sub but the one I really wanted.
