I stopped at a local pet supply store to grab some dog food and had my foster dog with me, while we were in line to pay for our things one of the employees asked if they could pet my dog, (right thing to do) I said yes, as the said employee went to pet the dog they put their hand flat out over the dogs head and proceeded to pet the dog (wrong way to pet a dog, especially a dog you have never met before!! ) BUT.....to make things worse this said employee then got down on their knees face level with the dog and got right at his face, (being sweet to him of course) I took a deep sigh and thought to my self wow think maybe these employees could use a little advise on approaching a strange dog So because I happen to have known the area manger for many years I will be going up to speak to him (nicely of course) My point being this could have been a dog that saw getting eye to eye with him as a threat and resulting in a person being bit probably in the face!! and of course the dog would have been blamed !!!! Another heavy sigh......
