I stopped by University Place this evening to visit with some former colleagues who are getting ready for the new school year. When I left at 7:00 PM, there were 15 cars in the parking lot. These people had been off the clock since 3:30, but there they were, setting up their classrooms with items they had purchased with their own money. When I hear people talk about how AEA is only interested in preserving the status quo without regard for the students of Alabama, I couldnt possibly tell you how far I want to tell them to shove it.
