I strongly disagree with Ordain Women movement. IMO (just an opinion) Were given different responsibilities so that we depend on each other. Were the body of Christ. With that out of the way, what bothers me the most is all these people celebrating and cheering for the excomms not of just this lady but of these other two bloggers. It truly bothers me the attitude of if you dont like it why dont you leave. The Lord doesnt want anyone to leave, He wants us to help people to stay. If the leaders decided they need to excomm someone, well, it is our job (friends, neighbors, fellow brothers and sisters in Christ) to persuade them to come back. Also, we have to remember that the church has excomm people before for political reasons, not because of Heavenly direction. One example: Helmut Hubner (which after the fall of Nazi Germany we took it back). Though I dont think (opinion again) this is a Hubner issue at all, it bothers me people acting like the church leaders have never misused the excommunication tool.
