IPS 10: Emphatic Appositive at the end of a sentence, namely after a colon. When to use? Use this when you want to repeat an idea. When you withhold the repetition until the end of the sentence, you will build a climax and provide a forceful appositive that concludes your sentence and brings attention to your readers.
