I (stupidly) decided that it would be fine to update a game over my phone internet, which pretty much ate all of my internet. It being a while till my next monthly refresh of my allowance, I phoned up Virgin (10ws.co/1qAXikW) to ask if I could buy more internet so I wouldnt be charged excessive amounts. Instead, they gave me an extra 500mb, valid for 30 days! Just a thought-if you are running low on internet on your phone and are nice to the operator, might end up saving a small fortune! Thanks Anon (love the page btw!!!) p.s. this DOES work for other companies as well, weve heard similar about O2, its generally a gesture of goodwill rather than something they will do often but still saves paying stupid prices for extra data. ► Got an anonymous tip you want to share?
