I support public servants of all professions! That does not mean i believe racism doesnt exist.. It doesnt mean institutional racism doesnt exist, it doesnt mean I blindly follow the notion that people are not mistreated, or judged on sterotyped. I believe racism goes well beyond my education or what I can relate too. I am intelligent enough to acknowledge my ignorance. The violence erupting is not going to send the message the protestors want sent. There are peaceful protesters there who intend to advocate for something they believe in and want to change, and rightfully so. Commenting sarcastically about the peaceful protestors is grouping all the protesters intentions together. Sterotyping! Calling out Ferguson as a whole. Sterotyping again. I agree this violence needs to stop. But I support the right to protest and advocate for change. But ask yourself why this announcement came at nightfall? Im NOT saying the officer should have been indited.. Im saying the powers that be KNEW this would happen! They are more likey to be supported if violence does erupt, and in some way, I see it working.
