I swear I pity my future huband....no, its not about me, Im a good woman hata tu ni venye nilipata convents zimejaa when I went to register. So today our long serving house help (she has been with us for over 20 years) calls me to find out if I am feeling any better. After assuring her that I am getting better she goes Aki maisha ya kukaa pekee yako wacha mummy, tafuta mtu hata afunike hiyo kifua yako usiku I find this totally hilarious and I burst out laughing only for her to go niko serious, unajua mimi lazima nikuleko mahari yako to which I reply sawa Flo, lala poa I know she is damn serious and I also know she deserves it. Yaani the trouble she has helped me get out of and what she has taught me is amazing. I have always had a phobia for lizards...I cant stand those things. Now, I was raised in a proper village, pit latrines and all. The lizards always loved the toilets for reasons beyond me hence before I could go to the toilet, I had to ask my right hand man aka my brother to accompany me. His work was to ensure that there was no lizard in there before I entered and that none comes in while Im inside. This particular day, I asked my brother to accompany me to the toilet as usual but he was busy fixing his feya and told me to wait. I tried to but I realized that the call was urgent so I yelled inakuja! And ran towards the toilet. My brother quickly followed me but I didnt make it. I pooped on my pants and started crying. Our sweet Flo came, assured me it was okay and cleaned me thoroughly. I will not go into details about this day I was in the farm looking for nyamnyam (poleni mabarbie) and I decided at one point to pee hapo tu. As I was squating I spotted nyamnyam and I started eating them not knowing safari ants were right where I was. They decided to get into my honey pot (they must have been male). I tell you the pain made me run home screaming right to Flos arms who together with mum helped me out. Now doesnt this woman deserve something from my soon to be very rich non existent husband? And my brothers and friends? (Si mimi nimemwambia achelewe) Anyway, even if she/he wont get dowry, treat your house helps well especially this festive season. Kuna wale wazuri and they impact positively on our kids for life...let them know and God will bless you or is it bleshu.
