I swear not to sound like a Negative Nellie but WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! if we get one more bad piece of luck,fate,crap, etc. we are going to sell out and just keep a handful of horses :-( shit just keeps happening day after day and this has been going on since January , were done with it !!!!!!! we have lost several of our main pastures(the places sold ) that were key to our operation and on a dry year like this one we are trying to manage what pasture we have !! We do what we think is best for other peoples land and not over graze it so the feed will last all summer and damage there fields as well, it seems all that did was turn around and bite us on the a$$ :-( we got a phone call this morning(6:00 am) that oh god your field your renting has to much grass in it. its a fire hazard so im renting it too cows !!!! ummmm really you just had half of it swathed and baled for fire hazard . I think its just people GREEDY wanting more money more money but what Ever Were very close to just being done ,were wore out, spread thin and honestly we actually contemplated just loading horses up and haul them to the nearest auction barn , I would have to haul them to the nearest auction barn as No one wants a free horse, they will by poor old Browny from a horse Rescue for $1000 ,give or take depending on rescue ,but........................... i try to give the same horse away and all i get is tire kickers sadly it is simpler to haul them off in one big swoop rather then deal with people any more
