What a joyous time spent on Christmas eve into Christmas morning with my family. Its always been about family for me. I decided to put together a few Christmas highlights from my youth in the 50s and 60s growing up in Ontario. We live now in a world where everyone can take video, but back then it was silent 8mm film that you didnt get to see until several days later after having the film developed at the local camera store. Then you had to load it onto the film projector and show it on the funky home movie screen....and people say it was much simplier then? Not when it came to documenting an event.
