I take a fairly hard line on illegal immigration. But, there are areas where it is obvious we need to make exceptions. While I might support some vetting to be sure the marriages are not green card weddings, I generally support this idea. Not sure I support the imperial wand method of getting there though. In the example cited, you have the other no brainer, kids brought here illegally who we have paid to educate for the past 15 to 30 years. We need to get these guys legally in the system. It was not their sin or crime. Lets get some responsible legislation going. The key for both, is it IS an amnesty. The beneficiary should not receive familial reunification privileges which can quickly treble and more the numbers.
