I tell people I dont do gifts at Christmas and they look at me cock eyed. It was never part of my Christmas experience growing up in Jamaica. We decorated my mums rose bushes or almond tree in the front yard and we ate and went to church and saw family. It was never about gifts. We did however give gifts for less fortunate children. Everyone would take a gift for the Christmas gift box at school. I loved Christmas and without santa clause to boot. Go figure!
