I tell you nothing is ever won easy! I had determined to take Marty out of this house and go to the Goodwill this morning before noon and set out to do the many steps to accomplish such a thing. Theres a lot in getting Marty into his power scooter out the door and into the wheelchair van. Weeel we did all those and when I got parked at Goodwill in the handicap parking and was just about to put up the placard and head in he went into a seizure. It was a pretty long seizure! There were no rescue Ativan in the glove box sooo I figured I would drive all the way back home get the meds give them to him through his food tube and head BACK to Goodwill and did that. Not going to let a mere seizure stop us story of our lives! So was there kind of late texted Tara not to come over till at least 1:30 but it was really fun I went up and down most all the isles and couldnt find very much which is just as well because I cant maneuver a cart and his scooter. Oh yes and I learned that when the power supply leaves the green dots and get onto the gold dots the chair will still go. The RED dots were next and glad we didnt get to them so I did not have to figure out how to move the chair with no more power. This whole thing just goes to show you that nothing in life comes easy! I think most things in life must be fought for that perseverance is one of the most important lessons to learn in life. Was kind of whining to God why cant we get a break on the first trip home but He quickly steered my thinking in another direction with: MY GRACE IS SUFFICIENT UNTO YOU MY GRACE IS MADE PERFECT IN WEAKNESS! Story of Martys and my life and what we have to share with all of you today. YOU will NEVER get strong enough but GOD working THROUGH YOU now THAT is another story altogether. Hay its getting dark cant wait till summer again!
