I think Canada wanted to join the war against ISIS because the US and Saudi Arabias plan seems to keep pumping oil to keep world prices down to starve ISIS of oil money, and thats hurting Canadas oil industry. But the States and SA could also be trying to weaken its other oil competitors too, creating low oil prices that hurt Canada, Russia, etc., which will if they can survive the lower oil prices themselves, give their countries more leverage in the world when others are on the ropes or folded. But would the US oil companies who own oil and natural gas fields and have investments in Canada allow this happen? Or would some be smart and have already pulled out (Chevron?)
