I think I am about to stroke out my darn self!!! Another day like today and I will be in hospital also. Mom made it through the surgery. They were able to place chest tubes in strategic places, unlike previous attempts as they used x-ray technology to guide them. They removed what was the potential lung cancer and WAS NOT CANCER. However, still not good as it could be TB, or a thing like TB. Tests will reveal what it is EXACTLY. She also has a pneumonia that was not there three days ago. :-( However, they did a bronchial wash and strong IV antibiotics and are not stressing over that. The next 48 hours will be critical. She is ventilated. Kept knocked out for multiple reasons. So, PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE, everyone........... keep my Mom, Janet Bigley in your prayers still and keep her in your thoughts. She is only 63 years of age and we are not ready to lose her as of yet. Also please pray for the staff at UPMC SHADYSIDE to have the knowledge and wisdom to keep her safe. Thanks to all our friends and fellow FBers for all your compassion, love, and support. Will update when time allows.
