I think I figured out a great way for Apple start making money. Inspired by a discussion on an online forum I am a member of, which discussion centered around the topic of which celebrity voice you would like to have as the voice of your dashboard GPS, the thought occurs to me that Apple could take that idea and apply it to the voice of Siri on the iPhone. The voice as it is now is just a generic female voice or a generic male voice. Now suppose you could have a celebrity voice be the voice of Siri? Imagine for a moment how cool it would be for Morgan Freeman to read your emails aloud to you or have Patrick Stewart give you directions to the nearest Italian restaurant, in full-on Shakespearean Actor mode? Or perhaps Liam Neeson read out your grocery list from the Notes app? I think it would be very cool myself. Id pay good money for that.
