In response to the highly troubling and discriminatory climate that is taking hold of Israeli society at every level, The Abraham Fund issued the following statement: There is a clear connection between a number of recent troubling developments in Israel: the Jewish-Nation-State-Law; Foreign Minister Avigdor Liebermans proposal for paid transfer of Arab citizens; the calls for a boycott on Arab businesses; and the appalling arson attack on the bilingual school in Jerusalem. The agenda of Kach movement led by Rabbi Kahane, which was outlawed 25 years ago, is gaining legitimacy among leaders of State and being manifested before our eyes. This erosion must be halted immediately, and that, above all, is the up-most responsibility of the government at this time
