I think it is necessary for me to clarify my position regarding vaccines. I find frankly biased both positions, the one that states all vaccines are bad and the one that states all vaccines are good. Both are absolutist positions. There is a lot of data that is not clear for me regarding either one of them. Moreover, because I suffered from a very bad experience personally and I saw other person suffer from it. When I find such contradictions, I just wait until I get more reliable information. I dont care if people get angry or insults or fights against any of the positions. Those are irrelevant for me. Nevertheless, if people get angry and starts insulting, that immediately tells me that perhaps something is not very sensible regarding their position, that it is untenable some part or all of it. They start lacking arguments so they attack ad hominem. When people are willing to debate in a civilized manner, I answer the same way. I also think that scientists have an obligation to divulge science and scientific knowledge in a sensible, civil, and didactic manner. They do not have a monopoly of understanding or intelligence. This is so well known that there is a satirical TV program currently on the air trying to express this simple fact; scientists have a hard time communicating with people in general their knowledge. Scientists are as well obligated to behave in a civil manner whether they like it or not.
