I think it is time for one last excerpt for the day...hope you all enjoy this. Grog continued his investigation his senses set on alert for anything that may decide to come at them, and yet nothing came. The bandits had been so sure of themselves that the camp was not even set with a single trap intended to catch nosey adventurers unaware. It was if the bandits knew no one would find them let alone decimate the sheer number that they had. There were all sorts of items slung everywhere about their camp with no sense of rhyme or reason. They did not even have the decency to pile their ill gained booty into a treasure tent or chest. It did not appear as if they had truly cared what they had gotten off the merchants or travelers. They had killed just for the pure pleasure of killing. Looking around Grog felt a subtle outrage growing inside him realizing that people could have such blatant disregard for human life. He never knew anyone that had killed just for the sheer pleasure of it like these bandits. He was getting the sense that what he had been lead to believe while growing up had just been childhood dreams of a peaceful world that did not exist any place but in his happy little home. He was getting a rude wake up call to the real ways of the world and he did not like it one bit. This atrocity was not something he would ever accept as being the way of his world, and he knew from this point on that he would be spending his life fighting every form of evil that roamed the lands until his last breathe left his body.
