I think it only fitting to challenge you believers to demonstrate your walks by doing works in your communities. Lets save the children by showing those tasked with providing quality education, that we, the people, regardless if we have kids in these schools or not, are watching them. Heres a list of the school board meetings in greater sac. There are some upcoming elections so by attending, you can study the candidates and incumbents. Natomas Unifed, 1900 arena blvd, wed! April 30, may 14, June 11 &25, 6:30pm. Twin rivers, 5115 Dudley blvd, April 23, 7p. Sac city unified, 5735 47th ave, April 24, 6:30p. SCOE 10474 Mather blvd, 6:30p, 5/6;5/20;6/10;6/24;7/15; &8/19. Sac city council, 915 H st, every Tuesday , 6:30p. For the novice, I suggest you find a group of parents and take turns attending (so you wont get burned out). These are marathon meetings and public comment is normally mid range. SCOE is the only board I feel makes effort to consider public time. Others seem to try to discourage by having you sit fr hours before you can participate in the process.
