I think maybe I should have gone to the ER the night this happened. I waited to go to my doc in the morning, she told me to elevate and ice it, dont walk in bare feet. After a few days I was walking, or limping around without crutches. I had a set of crutches from a sprained ankle a while back. My doc decides to have me get an x ray today. After the x ray, the tech wanted me to wait because the appearance of my foot was so bad. She wanted to have the radiologist read it and call my doc with the report and then my doc would call me on my cell phone. So, I waited and got the call from the doctor who said that I did have a displaced fracture in my foot and I wasnt to bear any weight on it. Ive been walking around on it for days. The doc told me to go home, ace wrap it, elevate and ice it. I have an appt. with ortho doc, tues. morning. I just didnt expect walking in to get an xray and having a wheel chair ride out. Geeze louise.
