I think one of the saddest things going on in our political climate right now is the complete inability to have a civilized discussion about anything. Disagreeing on topics does not inherently make us enemies. There are many subjects my husband and I dont agree on - yet somehow we find common ground on others and muddle through. My kids sometimes do things I dont approve of - it doesnt mean I stop loving them. This country cannot work correctly when all we do is stand around screaming and calling each other names. Come on, Americans, were better than that. We owe it to those who fought and died for this country to treat each other with respect even when we disagree and work together to get things done. Now, hopefully I dont trip and fall while getting off my soap box. :-)
