I think people forget that the purpose of going to school is not to maintain the status quo but to: improve yourself, work towards building a better society, knowing how to identify the issue, analytically question the rules, and arrive at your own conclusion grounded in logic. Our experiences and perspectives coupled with the knowledge we learn is wisdom and intelligence. No matter how well you did in college, graduate, and/or professional school if the most you can do is regurgitate information and theories your education has been a failure. The purpose of education is to arm yourself with the knowledge of the centuries and to better yourself and change the world.
