I think previous generations have thoroughly shocked current 25-45 year olds into being skeptical about marriage and family. Most people I know seem to think they have to sacrifice something (family, career, settle for the wrong one) to be happy. In all reality life is hard. Weve been taught that its okay to quit the team, divorce when times are hard, or better yet dont even try. Weve also been taught to think its okay to let every kid play even if they arent good at the sport. What happened to practice, studying, putting in the time and effort, risking it all, finding your gift? Although I see the rational, weve created laziness, a poor work habit, bad in manners, and loneliness. I dont believe that is what everyone truly wants. I think 98% of humans want at least one human companion. But who am I.
