I think someone needs to have a serious, genuine and in depth intellectual discussion with the Serbian Prime Minister. With all due respect to the Prime Minister I do not believe that one has an inherent moral right to be proud of a religion, even if they happened to have been born into it, if the vast majority of its holy text is a PROVEN FORGERY. This is true especially so if you have happened to kill in the name of this religion, and even committed grotesque genocides in its name in our times. We were not always Muslims nor were you always Christians, so let us approach this matter with courage and a spirit of honesty. Let us compare and contrast a little bit how this accident of history actually came about, for the sake of the Truth to prevail and for falsehood to be vanquished once and for all. First and foremost it is important to understand that after the military victories of the armies of Islam from southern France in the west to the borders of China and India in the east, it took a further five hundred years for the majority of the people in this region to accept Islam. This means that there wasnt any violent compulsion by the Islamic state to force Islam on anyone. Were violent compulsion applied Islam would most definitely have become the religion of the majority of the people in far faster time than five hundred years. What the Muslim state eventually did create was an institutional culture that propounded the truth and validity of Islam, as far as its internal consistency and textual historiography is concerned, not to mention its ethics which enforces a code of life that produces supreme characteristics of honesty, uprightness, humility, and courage, and demanded that the people take the vital questions of life into consideration above all else. The spread of Christianity in Europe on the other hand was literally forced at the point of the sword upon the slaves, or Slavs if you may, by the likes of Constantine and many like minded tyrants who were the norm in the Dark Ages of Europe. Ironically enough, after having literally forced his subjects into Christianity Constantine did not himself convert to the religion in his own life until he was firmly on his deathbed. Now this Mr. Prime Minister is how you came to be born a Christian, and we Muslims. Now let us for a moment touch on the subject of historiography, textual criticism, and matters pertaining to internal consistency in the holy scriptures. Mr. Prime Minister you can consult almost all serious scholars of the bible, particularly the New Testament, and they will provide documented and incontrovertible evidence that most of what has been written in the New Testament was never uttered by Jesus (may the peace and blessings of Allah Subhanahu Wa Taala be upon him), and rather it was ascribed to him by a formerly Jewish man we have come to know in history as St. Paul (his real name was Saul). Now this man was not one of the original twelve apostles of Jesus (may the peace and blessings of Allah Subhanahu Wa Taala be upon him), he opposed Jesuss (pbuh) teachings while he was alive, claimed to have had a vision of Jesus (pbuh) after the alleged crucifixion, and most of what he has ascribed to Jesus (pbuh) within the bible directly contradicts what is written WITHIN THE BIBLE ITSELF, as I will show in time with thorough documentation. In fact there is pretty much a unanimous consensus amongst biblical scholars that not only was the bible composed many centuries after Jesus (pbuh) has said to have lived, but most of what is written in the bible was never uttered by Jesus (pbuh). The question of Who wrote the bible? is intensely debated by scholars but almost all agree that what was ascribed to the good name of Jesus (pbuh) was certainly never uttered by him. It is this which best explains the theological absurdities within the New Testament. For example, if Jesus (pbuh) were literally God (as well as the Son of God, which is another logical fallacy to begin with) than why on his crucifixion would he cry out in the second person saying, My God, My God, why hast Thou forsaken me? (Mark 15:34) If Jesus (pbuh) was really God sent by Himself in the form of His Son, why would he need to raise such a rhetorical question to Himself essentially? Moreover, if Jesus (pbuh) were really sent by God as Himself in the form of His Son as the fabricated notion of the trinity states, to be deliberately crucified by the Romans and the Jews so as to save humanity from their own sinfulness, why would he so studiously evade the police and try to hide from them for as long as he did? Would it not be more logical if he simply turned himself in to get on with the show, so to speak? There are other absurdities as well, for example when Jesus (pbuh) was said to have gone out into the wilderness to pray (Mark 1:35)(Luke 5:16). The question is if Jesus (pbuh) is really God as has been falsely attributed to him, why would he pray to Himself? You see Mr. Prime Minister, there are a great deal of absurdities, both logical and theological, which follow from this totally contrived thesis of the trinity. One can go on and as there are a great deal more of such fallacies in the bible, but the point has been aptly made I believe. Pride in a totally contrived religion whose unholy text is a proved forgery, internally contradictory and inconsistent, logically and theologically absurd, is false pride and the height of true stupidity. There is nothing more that we in our hearts want than to reveal the Truth, to make it victorious in the hearts of all men, and to vanquish falsehood such as that present in the bible. Falsehood which is demonstrably so. We would like you to think and read deeply about the historiography of your faith, examine the most modern scholarship and genuine textual criticism that is freely available in most libraries. Ask the fundamental questions before one can arrive at true Faith. Questions like who wrote the bible? It certainly wasnt Jesus (pbuh) or any of his immediate disciples. When was it written? Forget the same decade, forget the same biological generation, and indeed forget even the same century! The compilation of the bible began three centuries after Jesus (pbuh) was said to have lived! And alterations continued, well quite frankly till our own times in minor ways, but long enough Id say in major ways for Shakespeare to sign his name for Gods sake inside the text, in the book of Psalms for that matter, in the form of a cipher, in the mid 16th century while he was commissioned to put the finishing touches on the King James Bible. If there can be any greater absurdity than the absurdities present in the bible itself, it is for presumably educated people to find what passes for faith these days in a proven forgery! We appeal to the Prime Minister of Serbia to accept the validity of Islam as the last of the Abrahamic (pbuh) faiths sent by God, as a correction to the documented and fully proven alterations in the bible, and to firmly renounce the falsehood present in the bible as is the responsibility of an educated human being. In this lies the salvation of your soul, the salvation of your people, and the salvation of the world.
