I think, sometimes, that when we, as Jews, say Never Again, it is - TopicsExpress

I think, sometimes, that when we, as Jews, say Never Again, it is a disgrace that we are not more vocal about doing something when it is someone else that is being slaughtered. Just as we complain that the world stood by when 6 million Jews were slaughtered, we should be screaming to the heavens about the slaughter of others. Yet, we dont. We watch our government hem and haw, we dont want to get involved, we dont want to send our children to hell-holes all over the world because its not our problem. There is a big isolationist sentiment among certain segments of the population and within the government. But, when things like Rwanda, or what is going on right now in Syria, happen, how can we look in the mirror when we essentially ignore it? And, a special note for those who focus all their energy on Israeli war crimes and human rights abuses that pale in comparison to MANY other scenes around the world, yet remain silent about those and wail and gnash their teeth over someone adding a porch to their home in East Jerusalem. You should be ashamed. Mortified, even. I dont know how you sleep at night.... jpost/Opinion/Op-Ed-Contributors/Another-cover-up-of-genocide-360570
