I think that the concept of Instant Messaging is a fallacy. It is amazing how many people receive a message, are online yet dont respond.... and maybe they will respond hours or or days later. I acknowledge that the message may have arrived at an inappropriate time, yet there is never an apology for a late response. Or an immediate response if it is a one word answer. Sign of the times communication....Nothing instant happening there.....
