I think that the school system makes too big a deal on the Naplan tests for these poor kids. They are In year 3 and 5 for goodness sake its not the end of the world! Yet they emphasize it as Important and these kids go In feeling nervous, worried and with trepidation. I did not make a big deal with pastel and tried to tell her that it was mainly for the school. She is a good student and has nothing to worry about we have talked and not made a big deal. Yet just before I left she was upset and super worried, because the school has made a big deal of it! It really angers me and I really think they should have other ways of assessing these kids without a feeling of pressure😠👎
