I think the so-called debate last night regarding whether or not Creationist theory has any basis in what is commonly accepted as science would have been much more interesting had it been Richard Dawkins instead of Bill Nye, although I doubt Dawkins would have been dumb enough to actually engage Ken Ham. To anyone who is capable of critical thinking and is not suffering from confirmation bias, Hams arguments were circular and deeply flawed. To engage him directly is a mistake because it gives him a public platform to propagate his fairly tales, and refusing to debate him gives him false credibility. The best thing to do is leave him alone to live in his fantasy world while making money off of those who choose to visit his magic kingdom.
