I think this was very well written, to sum it up, the Empress wanted to take am afternoon nap so she had the energy to match that of the General... The thing was since the General told the female courtier that he would come back for dinner after his training with his troops, so the Empress thought it would be a good idea for her to take a nap so she would be fresh when having dinner with the General. And on top of that, with the General training and fighting with the troops, then the Empress thought that could boost the General masculinity and so at night, the Empress thought it would be good for her to take the nap so she could have the energy to match that of the General. And as the Empress was thinking about it, soon she fell asleep on the day bed... After the Empress took her lunch, she walked to her study room to sort out the pile of documents submitted by the male officials prior to the trip, the Empress needed to review some of them before the court session with the male officials in the morning. While some of the documents were easy for to approve and stamp her approval, some were quite tricky and the Empress really needed to discuss with the male officials who submitted that particular documents. And the Empress was an efficient Empress and worker, so after sorting out those easy one from the more tricky one, the Empress quickly stamped her imperial stamp for approval. With her imperial stamp, nothing could be done and so the Empress was hoping she could knock out as many as she could. As for those more tricky one, the Empress then categorize them according their urgency, for those more urgent ones, the Empress needed to deal with them immediately in the morning court session and so on. Working as fast as she could, the Empress had been able to approve half of the documents and then the Empress had identified five documents that were needed immediate attention. Then for the other eight documents, the Empress thought they could wait. With that progress, the Empress was happy and it was that time, the Empress felt really tired as her started to get heavy. The Empress then decided to walk back to her sleeping room and slept on the day bed to rest a little bit...
