I think we have more politicians but few statesmen occupying key positions in d government. Yeah its a knwn fact casting votes during elections r all formalities, but lets reason togther what if casting votes wernt jst formalities do the young men of nowadays posses dat mental capacity to dispassionatly chose a leader who wud lead by moral authority and represent all dat is best in his countrymen, an open-minded leader who wont rule like a tyrant but like a free leader of a free people, a leader who wont keep his mind only on d now but also on d world future generations will inherit, a leader who wont make his countrymens hrt burn wit empty promises, a man of integrity who says d truth, keeps his words and do what he says he wud do. A leader dat has a vision for his country and his people, sm1 who knws wat his country and his ppeople can become, a leader who knows where he wants to take them and what it takes to get there. what shud a serios minded citizen b luking for in d next leader of a free world?, what criteria beyong hair, outward apearance and evn educational qualification might a man use to evaluate and judge candidates for ofice or those already in ofice?. When i luk @ d majority of the nigerian males i doubt if we posses that mental capacity necesary to vote wisely if elections wernt jst formalities. We reali gat alot of work to do mentaly. Smtyms its sad wen most nigerian females reason mre maturedly than d males.they express they love their country and wud hv fought well to defend it if they wer males. We reali need to improve, stand our ground and do wat we can. We cant go on pretending day by day dat sm1 somehow wud make tings beta.we reali need to improve. I rest my case.
