I think we should make Tuesdays, Thank a Teacher Tuesday. Teachers are so influential in our lives, but rarely are given the acknowledgement and gratitude they deserve. So I am going to make Tuesdays Thank a Teacher day. Hopefully it will catch on with others. But even if it doesnt, I will still be thanking a teacher every Tuesday. For my first Thank a Teacher Tuesday, I would like to thank my 4th grade teacher Karla Kuklaw. Mrs. Kuklaw was my teacher at a time when I was behind in school, making me very frustrated and discouraged. She was an enthusiastic teacher who truly cared for her students. She didnt hesitate to laugh and joke with us. She made school fun. It was through her encouragement and example that I came to enjoy school and develop the determination to excel. I contribute a huge part of my success in school to her. Thank you, Mrs. Kuklaw! :)
