I thought I had a pretty clear understanding that corporations are only allowed to have one value: the good of their shareholders. This amounts to what I call Dick Cheneys moral value - unlimited greed. If the managers of a corporation follow a course which will diminish profits, or otherwise act to the detriment of the value of the corporation, they are violating their obligation to the shareholders. When the company is closely held by religious fanatics, and they act on their ridiculous beliefs, they are going to harm the corporation. All across America, people like my wife and I will take our business elsewhere until Hobby Lobby agrees to comply with the law.
