I thought Id share some of the pieces that I used in my amp demos yesterday. First there was this track from 2L, Morten Lindbergs very fine Norwegian label that is producing some of the best new recordings out there. This new Magnificat is their most recent release. I got to listen to this on the Valhalla 2 and the Lyr 2, and sounded incredible on both. (I wonder if the Lyr 2 wasnt disadvantaged by the fact that it was the last amp I demoed; I find the din of background conversations to be extraordinarily tiring, and the two hours that I spent at the meet up was mentally exhausting.)
