I thought id do a recap on my 10 day mini vacation down here in Va. Meeting my first grandbaby is at the top of the list thats for sure! I got as much snuggling time with lil David as I could as I know Ill have to share him when we get home to Bay city Michigan. Im so happy for Alexis Jade Ortner and Devin Ortner on the birth of David. Im also very proud of them; they are wonderful parents! I consider myself very fortunate to have been here to spend this time with alexis, Devin, and David. I just wish I could have been here on the 5th so I wouldnt have missed his birth! Bella is such a good girl and she sure loves the baby and licking his teeny tiny feet. Bellas also become quite protective of the baby which is a good thing. Second on the list is i got to visit with my cousin Claudia and share David with her. I also got a chance to see my good friend Lisa Ecker Foley and spent time reminiscing about the good ole times. This was second visit with Stephen Sheriff a long time Chessie friend. Steve sent a bottle of water from the Chesapeake Bay to officially baptize Moxie! I definitely will get pictures of that event! Spending time with family and friends has truly been a treasured blessings. Next....is meeting new people; friends of Alexis and Devins. Spending time and just hanging out with the Wilsons was also fun. By now Im sure you can tell that i just love their son Mason and taking pictures of him....hes quite the ham! Thank you Matt Wilson and Alexas Wilson for your hospitality and our community dinners (drinks included) and for letting me hang with Mason! I had a lot of fun here on Webb Ct. also thank you Alexas for picking me up at the airport and returning me back to switch the luggage that I grabbed instead of mine...by accident of coarse. Alexis was kind enough to take me to Va. Beach to officially say that Ive been in the Atlantic Ocean even though it was just my feet. The waves coming in made me feel off balance as though I was drunk LOL! We also did some shopping in some of the tourist shops along the way. I finally got my tye dyed hoody and it was the last one they had. For those of you that dont know me well Im a tye dye junkie! Last but not least Alexis and I had fun shopping more than a few times! Did I mention my grandson David?
