I thought it would be fitting to end the last post before Christmas dedicated to Food For All... Anyone that has been popped on here from time to time since November would of seen that we have been supporting the charity who feed the homeless in London with a 1000 meals a day, 6 days a week... It has to be said that at times you glance at the news, read Facebook posts and cant but help loose faith in how the world is shaping up... However, the last few months for me has personally been an eye opener... The good folk at FFA are all volunteers, work totally unfunded, are all dedicated to the cause and Im humbled that a few of us were allowed to get involved with the job they do.... So, that leads me to The Aims charity single and video... The band rolled in to Zodiac Studios with 3 tracks written by Grant Judges back in 1991.. Lyrically the track, Lions Pride summed up exactly what we experienced when a few of us hit the streets in order to raise awareness.. .. Unfortunately it is now some 23 years later since pen was put to paper and nothing has really changed by those that are looked down upon... The stigma on the homeless being piss heads or drug addicts could not be further from the truth.. In fact they were some of the most generous people wed met... So, without preaching or stating the obvious, please give a thought to those out there on the streets when most of us take for granted eating a shit loads and spending time with our families... So, Grant Judges Sean Hanna Jamie Boss Tongue Adam Harwood Robert Orr Toby Draper Paolo Sedazzari Sydney Moore Wolfy Foxlow Sharon Judd Darren Bennett Katie Dore Peckham Rye London, Generator Hostels London, Cemex, Millwall FC and lastly the amazing spirit of Jennie Matthias.. Full respect and full power!!
