I thought long and hard before I posted re AMHS and I am not having a go at the state committees as they do a splendid job of running top shows and the reps and their committees work very hard but some members of the national committee need to step down as they have lost sight of why this association was started. I went through my Elite magazine thoroughly there was an AGM report but no Financial Report, a lot of members do not have access to the internet and must be supplied with a hard copy and at the time it certainly was not on the AMHS Web Site or their Face book Page, so I posted on FB complimenting AMHS on the Elite Magazine which is a top publication and asking why the Financial Report was not in it but that post disappeared. I am not asking anyone not to join AMHS as I along with others put a lot of work and money into helping build that Society but the ideals that started it no longer seem to apply when honest people have their credits taken off photos they can prove they supplied and the Treasurer writes to them threatening legal action making reference to a vicious rumor put around by a national committee member thus giving it credence how unprofessional is that. Also several well qualified people applied for the AMHS advertised positions and received no answer so after several months reapplied and were not even informed that the positions were filled. It took them 3 months to acknowledge my resignation and that of the then Secretary and my name was left on the Web site all that time despite repeated phone calls to remove it. I do not intend to carry this post any further and hope from the comments made by other people the powers that be get the wake up call they need to get it back on track. Remember committee AMHS PASSIONATE ABOUT THE BREED - DEDICATED TO THE VOICE OF ITS MEMBERS
