I thought this might be a bit fun to muse over. Add to this list if you have the inkling. Reasons That You Know that Youve Lived in Spokane Too Long: 1. You have not had to use the Spokane freeway to go anywhere for a long time. 2. Your family reunion is held at Manito Park. 3. You miss going dancing at the Old Eagles. 4. You participate in a two-car conference all the way down Sprague Avenue. 5. Your family vacation is held at Stoneridge. 6. You still go the Spokane Interstate Fair for the food and to see the same old stuff that’s been there for 20 years. 7. You go for a Sunday drive somewhere in Idaho and can’t get lost. 8. You missed boarding the Mish-an-nock at Cda on Friday evening because of the traffic on I-90. 9. You went on your two week summer vacation to Las Vegas and totally missed the only two weeks Spokane had great summer weather. 10. You thank God everyday that Spokane has gambling. 11. Your car got stuck in a pothole on South Freya. 12. You’ve gotten a ticket for leaving your studded tires on after September 15th. 13. You hate Avista because you remember how cheap WWP was. 14. You’ve done the Bloomsday thing and it’s no big deal any more. 15. There are 50,000 restaurants in Spokane but you and your friends can’t figure out where to go for a good meal. 16. You have either used up all the dinning coupons in your Entertainment book or have only used the one for the Belly Buster at Zips. 17. You actually remember what downtown Spokane used to look like before Expo 74. 18. You miss the old Coliseum. 19. You like the new one. 20. And finally, you really, really have learned to hate snow.
