I thought to share.... We regret to inform you... Rita Ann Cecil, 61, went to be with her Lord, Oct. 27, 2013, at Kindred Hospital, Greensboro. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 31 at United Pentecostal Church at 140 Piney Green Road, Jacksonville with the Rev. Kevin Wallace and the Rev. M. E. Drake officiating. Internment will follow at Onslow Memorial Park, Jacksonville. Sister Cecil was a member of the First United Pentecostal Church and was a former employee of Stanadyne. She is preceded in death by her parents, the Rev. Joseph and Malissia Cecil; and her brother, Allen E. Cecil. She is survived by her sister, Martha Cecil of Jacksonville; and brothers, Dale L. Cecil and wife Darlene of Nelsonville, Ohio, and the Rev. Terry J. Cecil and wife Susie of Baytown, Texas. Also are her nephews, Shawn Cecil, Brett Cecil, Rev. Jeremy Cecil, Marcus Blake, Joe Cecil and Jeff Cecil. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 30 at Johnson Funeral Home, 2685 Henderson Drive, Jacksonville, NC. She was loved by many, will be missed by all who knew her and Heaven has welcomed home a wonderful lady of God! Sister Cecil was a pioneer of Pentecost and a part of the honorable few who helped to build the foundation of revival in Jacksonville, NC and Onslow County!
