I thought you guys might get a kick out of an email I sent to a customer that has been deemed, unprofessional. I was told in the customers email to me that I had been unwilling to cooperate and shoe according to their specifications and was reminded that all hooves are not textbook. My reply is as follows: I have never expressed any unwillingness, period. I will not, however, put a shoe that is two sizes too small on a horse - something you, [customers name], allowed to persist - not only on [horses name], but the majority of the horses. I typically take Mondays and Fridays off - both of which I traveled to [barn name] (as well as on Thursday) in an attempt to help the animal. I understand fully that not every hoof is text book. How many feet do you look at each day? I am confident that the number is zero, because had you looked at any of the hooves in your barn that you are responsible for, you would have noticed the atrocious condition every one of those animals feet were in, including, but not limited to, the nearly non existence of frog on 80% of the horses due to your over treatment of a non-existent bacteria or infection. Although not every foot is textbook, I would highly recommend to you to read one, or perhaps beginning with, Horses for Dummies. Good day.
