I too am a Negative O...and can donate to anyone...Bo was not...he was allergic to many things while we were in the Hospital fighthing his AML Leukemia. He had to have huge doses of Benadryl, with a slow drip, just to keep it Normal for him. When he recieved Platelets, he was allergic to them & had to have Benadryl, and volume reduced platelets which help him have a less chance of having a reaction. Volume reduced platelets only have a 4 hour window to get from the lab to the patient. technical, but crazy stuff we learn while going through treatment... Needless to say, so many people need our help with blood & platelet donations. PLEASE CONSIDER DONATING...ITS A PIECE OF CAKE FOR US...ITS LIFESAVING FOR THE SICK. YOLOOOOOO!!!!!
