I took my 90 yr. old Dad to the hospital this morning at 8 a.m. to visit his wife following her stroke yesterday. She is stabilized thus far, but a long road ahead. I brought Dad to my house for lunch, then back to hospital just in time to hear her cardiologist. At 5 we met with cardio-surgeon who might do a procedure on her heart to prevent future clots. MODERN medicine!!! Brought Dad home at 6:30, then went to Grief Mgmt. class. Whee, think my Dad is in better shape than me. I will stay home tomorrow--most of the day. Thanks for all your calls, concerns and prayers. She is so appreciative.
