I totally lucked out last night with the weather for my solo show in the park in Cape Girardeau. Downpours on the way there, and events were getting rained out just a few miles away, but my concert was untouched. They estimated between four and five hundred people came, I was surprised. I called my friend Mr Bowlin up for some hot pickin on the last couple songs, ... solo is fun, but duo is funner. Afterwards was a nice little potluck gathering on the courthouse lawn, which made me forget my nice microphone there. Another excuse to go venture across the river to go fetch it. Thanks to all who helped out with the show yesterday, and to all who came to listen...
