I try my hardest to avoid these sorts of stories, because, frankly, they depress me, scare me, make me think of my own immortality and force me to consider things Id rather just ignore. My faith is admittedly weak in this area. But in writing this story today, I realized that Kara Tippetts is an inspiration. And though her struggle is sad to read about, her courage, faith in Christ and message are ESSENTIAL to read, consider and reflect on. Shes living to her last moment, but, beyond that, shes showing a level of courage that we rarely get to see in life. Praying hard for her family and I hope you will too.
