I try very hard to not go down this political rabbit hole because my I want my eyes to stay fixed on the things that truly matter, but I just have to say this one thing. I have followed not-very-closely a group called 2 million bikers to DC that was formed last year. Their story is a good one and they have a FB page if you want to follow yourself. Last year, their first year to go to DC, they were not given permission to have a rally in support of the 9/11 tragedy so they rode to DC and simply rode the streets - continuously - while a Muslim rally took place at the National Mall. The traffic cameras live feed for that day showed snow... in September. Im not making this up - I saw it. They rode again this year, and this time had a permit to have their own rally - again, just in support of our troops and country to honor those that died on this day. The founder of the group and page JUST posted a video of 10s of 1,000s of bikes on Connstitution Ave at the Washington Monument and she said that they had permission/permit for the rest of the bikes to be parked on 12th Ave - it had been closed for them to park there. I immediately go to the live feed for DC traffic and surprise! 12th Ave has not one single bike on it and no camera I click on shows and traffic like that from the ladys video. They are streaming another days traffic. My question is this - why? WHY is is SO important to anyone that this not be seen? They arent causing trouble or making a fuss or a protest. Its a positive message of bikers all across the country that took time off from work and, at their own expense, drove to DC to loudly proclaim their pride in being an American. Thats all. I havent seen anything on any news station. Its all a big hush hush. So... do our fearless leaders not want the rest of us to realize that this is an option? That we actually have a voice? Oh.. yeah. Mysteriously... the FB page has been blocked from her making any other video or photo posts, checking her messages or posting comments herself.
