I turn my heart to heaven, my mind to wisdom, my hands to justice. Let me walk the sacred way, with thoughts of pure intent for all of life around me, with an open search for where truth may lead me, with a pledge to the work that must still be done if peace is to be our common blessing. Thank you, God, for the call you make to each and every one, to all your sons and daughters, who honor the gift you have given by being the gift they are.
